Dorothy Dunn Weaver

Funeral services for Dorothy Dunn Weaver, 86, of Diboll will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bud Bonner and Reverend James Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver was born June 12, 1925 in Hudson, Angelina County, Texas to the late Ben and Ora (Brown) Dunn, and died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in a local nursing home. She resided in Diboll most of her life and retired from KTRE TV.

Survivors include her son, Gregg Weaver of Diboll; granddaughters, Michelle Weaver and C.J. Garza and husband John, all of Diboll; great-grandchildren, Max Morales, Gabby Morales, and Drew Garza, all of Diboll; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elbert and Velda Dunn of Lufkin, George and Ruby Dunn of Apple Springs and Rufus Dunn of Hudson; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Weaver; sister and brother-in-law, Lila Faye and Earl Largent: special friend, Milton Capps, Jr.; and sisters-in-law, Sara Dunn and Hilda Dunn.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Dunn, Kirk Dunn, Mark Lowery, Joe Lowery, Tommy Largent and Patrick Largent.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Lowery, Marsal Capps, Paul Clark, Jeff Largent, Craig Largent, Ryan Largent, Richard Jones and Edward Hollis.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
