Wh Crager

Funeral services for WH Crager, 79, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bud Bonner officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Crager was born March 24, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Artie C. and Francis (Townsend) Crager, and died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mr. Crager served in the U.S. Army and was a Storekeeper at Lufkin Industries for 42 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Crager of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, William (Bill Crager) Anthony and Dewey Lee and Denise ""Sissie"" Crager, all of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Herbert Guidry of Hudson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Dovie Richardson of Marshall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ellis and Margueriette Kessinger of Diboll; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crager was preceded in death by his grandson, Chris Westmoreland; great-granddaughter, Hailie Michell Sanford; six brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Dewey Crager, William Anthony, Scott Pace, Donnie Kessinger, Dwight Modisette, Danny Richardson, Eugene Crager and Billy Redd.

Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Norton, Erick Weeks, Harvey Glass, Jeremy Norton and Christopher Anthony.
