Nora Mullins

Funeral services for Nora Mullins, 70, of Diboll will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Paul Mettlen and John Lumpkin officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Mullins was born October 20, 1941 in Cherokee County, Texas to the late Arthur J. and Ressie (Oliver) Mettlen, and died Thursday, June 21, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Diboll and worked for Perry Brothers for 16 years. Mrs. Mullins was a member of the Burke Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie W. Mullins of Diboll; daughters and sons-in-law, Delisa and Ricky Allen of Goat Hill, Vicky Mullins of Hoshall and Melissa and Jimmy Dale Jones of Beulah; grandchildren, Jerri Petty of Kansas City, Kansas, Lee Wes Allen and wife Desirae of Burke, J.C. Allen and wife Savanha of Goat Hill, Hannah Wilder, Cassidy Wilder, both of Corrigan, Brody Wilder of Hoshall, Sara Badeaux, Stephen Badeaux, both of Beulah, and Anthony Jones of Chester; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Charlene Mullins.

Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Charlie Mann, Hollis Mott, Wilber Teer, Wayne Hodges and Charlie Allen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Waggonner and Gene Baker.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
