Mary (Billie) Solly Morgan Berryman

Funeral services for Mary (Billie) Solley Morgan Berryman, 90, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Berryman was born August 11, 1921 in the Forest Community of Cherokee County, Texas to the late Sudie Mae (Beville) and W.D. ""Dewey"" Solley. She died Sunday, July 8, 2012 in a Lufkin nursing facility.
Mrs. Berryman was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip Morgan, David and Mitsy Morgan, and Eddie and Myra Morgan, all of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Pam Morgan, Susan and John Hannah, Craig Morgan, Gina and Dayton Jones, Cathy Stubblefield, Byron and Jodi Morgan, Scotty and Candi Morgan, Angela Malnar, Joshua Morgan and Caleb Morgan; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Bailey of Lufkin; daughters-in-law, Carole Morgan Sheffield and Marilyn Mathews Powell, both of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Berryman in death were her parents; her husbands, J.P. Morgan and James D. Berryman; son, Dewey K. Morgan; great grandson, Casey Cole; sisters, Mildred Morris and Maurice Miles; and brother, Carl Ray Solley.
Pallbearers will be Craig Morgan, Byron Morgan, Scotty Morgan, Joshua Morgan, Caleb Morgan, Chase Hannah, Andrew Stubblefield, and Zach Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Hannah and Dayton Jones.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 2005 Ford Chapel Road, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
