John Joseph Waite

Funeral services for John Joseph Waite, 64, of Diboll, will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bob Harbuck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning immediately prior to the service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Waite was born February 25, 1948 in Rosewood, Illinois to the late Beatrice (Page) and Thomas B. Waite. He died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Waite had been a self-employed carpenter for more than 30 years. He was a former resident of Illinois and had lived in Diboll for the past nine years. He was a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda Waite of Diboll; daughters and son-in-law, Venessa Waite of Mesa, Arizona, Jayme Mecham of Provo, Utah, and Tracy and Mike Hussey of Momence, Illinois; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave and Marilyn Waite of Oak Forrest, Illinois, Jim and Linda Waite, Bob and Angie Waite, all of Florida, Chuck and sue Waite of Ohio, and Danny and Debbie Waite of Lansing, Illinois; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Bob Persha of Florida, Margaret and Jeff of Michigan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Waite was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Waite.
