Sue Carol Havard

Sue Carol Havard, 67, of Huntington died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at her residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Havard was born February 2, 1945 in Alto, Texas to the late George and Iva Mae (Beard) Cummings. She had resided in Huntington for 29 years. Mrs. Havard was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, C.J. Havard of Huntington; daughters, Stacey Shelton of Lufkin and Dena Goodwin of Huntington; son, Anthony Rogers and wife Melissa of Springfield, Missouri, stepsons, Terry Lane Havard and wife Linda of Zavalla and Shane Havard and wife Debbie of Huntington; grandchildren, Domnique Malone, Cimone Malone, Paige Rogers, Angela Yarbrough, Mittchelle Havard, Michael Havard and Mandy Summers; great-grandchildren, Aalyiah Malone, Isaiah Malone and Braydon Malone; brother, Tommy Cummings of Etoile; sisters, Jeanine Harris and Lo Dean Sisson, both of Etoile; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Havard was preceded in death by her grandson, Smith Malone IV; and brother, Charles Cummings.
