Bobbie Sue Loyd

Funeral services for Bobbie Sue Loyd, 72, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Templeton officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Miss Loyd was born November 29, 1939 and died Monday, August 27, 2012 in a Diboll nursing facility.
Bobbie Sue lived at the River Oak A.L.U. operated by St. Giles Living Centers, Inc. with Gloria Wade, Diana Ortega and Donna Peschel. She had a special liking for her staff, especially Asia Thomas, who she called ""Angel."" Bobbie Sue loved drinking diet coke and eating crackers. We all can remember Bobbie constantly asking for money to purchase those items. She also attended Oak Creek Center for Day Habilitation. Bobbie had lived in Lufkin for the past 52 years.
