Pauline Hutson

Funeral services for Pauline ""Polly"" Hutson, 76, of Diboll will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Corrigan with Reverend John Tyler officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Trinity County.

Mrs. Hutson was born May 26, 1936 in Carmona, Texas to the late Luther and Iola (Nash) Henderson, and died Friday, September 14, 2012 in a local hospital. She had resided in Diboll for more than 30 years. Mrs. Hutson loved sewing and quilting, and enjoyed going to Branson, and was an avid shoe shopper. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Corrigan.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Hutson of Diboll; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Trish Hutson of San Antonio; daughter, Denise Holcombe of Paige; grandchildren, Misty and Jimmy Taylor, Luther Hutson, Brandall Porter, Jr., Jessica Holcombe, Heather Holcombe, Nina and Angel Garza, April and Gabe Rosas and Amanda Clark; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Taylor, Jace Taylor, Jacob Garza, Logan Rosas, Kacey Bonnett, Britney McGinnis and Madison Villareal; three great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Colleen Hutson of Round Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Griffitts and Gary Kilgore of Houston; sisters-in-law, Alvi Bounds of Houston, Nell Hutson of Coldspring and Adna Henderson of Brazoria; special friend, Marsha Duff of Conroe; special nephews, Mike and Jim Hutson; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutson was preceded in death by her son, Steve Hutson; granddaughter, Amanda Porter, brother, Bobby Wayne Henderson; sister, Marjean Smith; brothers-in-law, A.L. ""Buck"" Hutson and Tillman Hutson; and sisters-in-law, Mary Hutson and Jonnie Denby.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Lufkin.
