Nancy Lenora Bonham Perkins

Graveside services for Nancy Lenora Bonham Perkins, 69, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Daniel Cemetery in Kountze.

Mrs. Perkins was born February 5, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to the late John Nudy and Sarah (Rountree) Bonham, and died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at her residence. A former resident of Sour Lake, she had resided in Lufkin since 1994.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacy Warner of Livingston, Michelle and Grover Elrod of Elmo; Lori Wright of Tyler, and Cynthia Ann and Donald Schesny of Cantonment, Florida; sons, Shawn Howell, Sr. of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, William Eugene Tyson of Louisville, Kentucky, Jimmy Hyatt of Ft. Davis, and J. Lynn Halstead of New Orleans, Louisiana; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laverne Bongiovi of Lavernia, Yvonne Bonham Vance of Nacogdoches and Denise Salazar of Lufkin; brothers, Johnny Bonham of Floresville, Harvey Bonham, Donnie Bonham, Wayne Bonham, all of Lufkin, and Ronnie Bonham of Diboll; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Perkins; daughter, Lisa Wright; and brother, Robert Bonham.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Comstock, Harvey Bonham, Ronnie Bonham, Gary Bonham, John Elliott and Carl Spore.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday at Carroway Funeral Home.
