Kenneth James Trapp

Funeral services for Kenneth James Trapp, 66, of Wells will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Jim Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Mr. Trapp was born December 19, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Landy Lott and Evelyn (Smallwood) Trapp, and died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence. He had resided in Wells for five years and worked for the City of Lufkin.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Olin James and Vera Trapp of Lufkin, Kenneth Lee Trapp of Amarillo, Terry Lynn Trapp of Lufkin, and Michael Paul and Anita Trapp of Wells; stepdaughter, Teresa Whiteside of Lufkin; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Billy D. English of Lufkin and Rick and Angie English of Flint; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Landy Leo Trapp of Lufkin, Gene Trapp of Texas City, Paul Trapp of Woodville and Winifred Scott Trapp of Lake Jackson; sisters, Louise Johnson of Lancaster, Georgia and Ann Cannon of Lufkin; caregiver and mother of his sons, Patricia Trapp Corcoran of Alto; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Trapp was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Trapp, Prentiss Trapp and Robert Shivers.
