Memorial services for Pat Hale, 71, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church with Reverend Art Callaham and Reverend Ashley Cook officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Hale was born June 7, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to Charles Emerson Hale and Louise (Davis) Hale, and died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in a local hospital.
A former resident of Houston, Pat had resided in Lufkin for 18 years. He was a Professor of Accounting at Angelina College for seven years and a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Hale was a member of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, the Lufkin Evening Lions Club, and an active member of the NRA. He and his wife enjoyed their two dancing clubs and weekly bowling leagues.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Anna Hale, the love of his life; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Michael Morgan of Missouri City and Rhonda and Michael Baldry of Houston; grandsons, James Baldry, David Baldry, Stephen Baldry, Aaron Baldry, and Matthew Morgan; and granddaughter, Patricia Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hale Family Trust at Huntington State Bank, 2120 S. First Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901, for the on-going care of Anna.
