Joe Dale Whiddon

Joe Dale Whiddon, 60, of Goodrich died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home, and a private family inurnment will be held in the Cox Cemetery in Van Zandt County.

Mr. Whiddon was born June 18, 1952 in Tyler, Texas to the late Milton Robert and Doris Marie (Moore) Whiddon. A former resident of Huntington, he had just recently relocated to Goodrich. Mr. Whiddon worked as a Brick Mason for 30 years. He loved to travel and had many friends. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert S. and Lou Whiddon of Huntington and David L. and Peggy Whiddon of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Sherrell and Robert Walker of Huntington; numerous nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
