Doris E. Ray

Graveside services for Doris E. ""Dot"" Ray, 85, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Dr. Andy Pittman officiating.
Mrs. Ray was born November 15, 1925 in Natchez, Mississippi to the late Cora (Hall) and Lawrence Atkins. She died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Ray was a retired realtor and had owned and operated Lufkin Realty for 25 years. She was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church and had resided in Lufkin since 1958.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Elizabeth Ray of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Chyrl and Ben Selman of McGregor, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Jade and Casey George, Tyson and Amanda Selman and Robert A. and Lisa Ray; and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert E. Ray, Sr.
