Charles T. Forrest

Memorial services for Charles T. Forrest, 72, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Herrington and Reverend Bill Havard officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Forrest was born December 20, 1939 in Houston, Texas to the late Clifford Hampton and Gertrude Ruth (Neal) Forrest, and died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mr. Forrest had resided in Lufkin for 42 years. He served with the Texas Air National Guard and owned and operated a security alarm business for 42 years. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Mr. Forrest was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Nora Forrest of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Denise and Michael Jenkins of Nevada and Mary Katherine and Bernard Wright of Round Rock; and grandsons, Jonathon Jenkins and Charles Jenkins.
