Melissa Ann Tyner

Graveside services for Melissa Ann Tyner, 33, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Pastor James High and Pastor Debra High officiating.

Melissa was born September 30, 1979 in Houston, Texas. She died Monday, December 30, 2012 in a Lufkin hospital.

Melissa was employed as a cook at Parkwood Place. She was a beloved mother, daughter and sister. Formerly a resident of Houston, Melissa had lived in Lufkin for the past 17 years.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Allen Gann of Hudson; her mother, Jeanette McMullen Sona of Diboll; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Nathan Womack of Hudson; niece, Chasadie Gilmore of Hudson; nephew, Nicholas Chase of Hudson; maternal grandmother, Billie Sue McMullen of Pollok; maternal grandfather, Jerry Lynn McMullen of Huntsville; and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Gary Lynn Tyner.

Pallbearers will be Robert, Chris, Nathan and Buster.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday at the funeral home in Lufkin.
