Susie Wright

Funeral services for Susie Wright, 68, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Keith Woolf officiating. Interment will follow in the W.M. Berry Cemetery.

Ms. Wright was born August 21, 1944 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Thelma (Nerren) and Winfred M. Berry, Sr. She died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in a Lufkin hospice facility.

Ms. Wright was a retired security guard for Pilgrim's Pride, following 15 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and had lived in Lufkin all her life.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Wright of Lufkin, Darrell and Kim Wright of Central, and Henry and Bettina Wright of Huntington; grandchildren, Randy Wright, Jonathon Wright, Jace Wright, Rauliegh Wright, Dustin Griffith, Mandy Wright, Nikki Wright, Tyler Wright, Ashley Wright and Hannah Wright; great grandsons, Kadeyn Sockwell and Jason Wright; sisters and brother-in-law, Bennie Rainey of Lufkin, Jane Hankins of Diana, and Geraldine and Johnny Hamlet of Clute, brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Sue Berry of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ms. Wright was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, W.M. Berry, Jr., Arthur Berry, John Mitchell Berry; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Fay Berry; and sister, Sally McCreary.

Pallbearers will be Randy Wright, Jonathon Wright, Jace Wright, Dustin Griffith, Danny Berry and Wayne Nerren.
