Rose Marie Dobson

Rose Marie Dobson, 64, of Lufkin died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends and loved ones Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Timber Point Apartments Clubhouse, 4506 Ellen Trout Drive, Lufkin.

Ms. Dobson was born January 29, 1948 in Estes Park, Colorado. She resided in Lufkin most of her life. Ms. Dobson enjoyed bowling and was a member of the United States Bowling Congress. She was also a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include her mother, Imogene Dobson Ramos of Lufkin; sisters, Pauline Dobson of Anchorage, Alaska and Ruth Nicholson of Lufkin; brother, Daniel Dobson of Lufkin; nieces and nephews, Clara Nicholson of Lufkin, Colton Nicholson, currently in active duty with the U.S. Army, Jacob Dobson, Brianne Dobson, Jason Johnson and Jeffery Johnson, all of Lufkin; and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Dobson; and sister, Annette Johnson.
