Phyllis Warwick Persano Goodwin, 84, of Escalon and Ripon, California, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in a Bryan, Texas hospice facility. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goodwin was born September 20, 1928, in Hayward, California to the late Elizabeth Middleton (Begg) and William Wilson Warwick. She was employed with Hogan's Manufacturing for 25 years as an office manager. Before that, she worked on her family's ranch in California. She was ""Gramma Fifi"" to everyone who knew her. In 2000, she and Mr. King moved to Texas. With all the lives she touched, she became a forever memory.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve, Sr. and Ginny Persano; grandchildren and their spouses, Steve, Jr. and Kris Persano, David and Shannon Persano, Paula Persano, Josh Stifle, and Kelly Persano; great grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan and Chloe Persano; special friends, Nella Sorrenti, Bill and Darlene Selling, Larry and Andrea Violett; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, Aldo Persano, Leslie King and Joe Goodwin, and son, Paul Persano.
