Curtis Roland Roberson

Funeral services for Curtis Roland Roberson, 62, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Starr and Pastor Michael Monterastelli officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Roberson died at his home Monday, January 21, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Born December 31, 1950, he lived most of his life in Lufkin. He graduated from Lufkin High School, and then graduated with honors in 1973 from the University of Texas and earned his CPA license shortly thereafter.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Laura (Wuest) Roberson of Lufkin; brothers, Roy Roberson, Jr. of Greenwood, Arkansas, Steve Roberson and Lamont Richie of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Wayne Roberson and wife Angela of Lufkin, and Mark Roberson of Vernon; nephew, Christopher Roberson and wife Lauren of Bryan; and niece, Stephanie King and husband Kevin of The Woodlands.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Leslie Roberson.

Pallbearers will be his brothers and nephew.
