Velma Bell Reese

Velma Bell Reese, 77, of Lufkin died Monday, June 7, 2010 in Lufkin. She was born May 21, 1933 in Trinity, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dr. James Reese; daughter, Jeannie Reese Lowery; and grandson, Matthew Reese Lowery.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma Barnes Bell, who died at her birth; father, Jones Bell, who died when she was 11; and grandfather, John Bell.
