Pauline Jones Modisette

Pauline Jones Modisette, 86, of Lufkin died Thursday, August 19, 2010 in a local nursing home. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

Mrs. Modisette was born March 23, 1924 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Minnie (Huff) and Willie Delbert Lynn. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a member of Herty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, D.L. Modisette of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Traci Jones of Lufkin; grandchildren, Marla Johnson, David Jones, Ashley Dominguez, Raye Ann Galuszka and Nick Jones; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and James Havard of Aurora, Colorado; sister-in-law, Ouida Lynn of Pasadena; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Modisette was preceded in death by her son, Darwin Thomas Jones; daughter, Francis Elaine Jones; and brother, Willie Edward Lynn.
