Patricia Lynn Mitchell

Funeral services for Patricia Lynn ""Pat"" Mitchell, 49, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Wallace Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Mitchell was born April 22, 1961 in Hemphill, Texas to Mary Arlevy (Hudgins) and Clarence Ferguson, and died Sunday, May 2, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was a supervisor at Vend Buffet, Inc. Ms. Mitchell was an avid supporter of Relay for Life. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Christi Mitchell of Lufkin; son, Brian Mitchell of Lufkin; grandson, Derick Woodard of Lufkin; father and stepmother, Clarence ""Pete"" and Joyce Ferguson of Lufkin; sister, Teresa Mitchell of Beaumont; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Sandra Stokes of Hudson and Mike and Teresa Stokes of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ferguson; and grandmother, Willie Mae (Seales) Ferguson.
Pallbearers will be Brian Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Mason Wood, Gary Stokes, Mike Stokes and James Littlefield.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Rosales, Kevin Watson and Ms. Mitchell's co-workers from Vend Buffet.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
