Donna Gail Butler Mayberry

Memorial services for Donna Gail ""Dooder"" Butler Mayberry, 44, of Hudson will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grace Baptist Church with Brother Elton Musick officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mayberry was born September 3, 1966 in Lufkin, Texas to Brenda Hope (Moore) and Tommie Butler, and died Monday, April 4, 2011 in Trinity County, Texas, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She had resided in Hudson most of her life and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She loved to fish.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Mayberry of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Jeremiah Halsell of Central; son, Clinton Hill of Central; grandson, Matthew Halsell of Central; father and stepmother, Tommie and Sue Butler of Hudson; sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda and Tim Taylor and Glenda Johnson, all of Central; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda McLaughlin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Mayberry's nephews and her grandson, Matthew Halsell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund set up in Mrs. Mayberry's name at Lufkin Federal Credit Union.
