Barbara Ann Weems

Barbara Ann Weems, 88, of Lufkin died Thursday, January 13, 2011 in a Nacogdoches hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weems was born October 26, 1922 in Galveston, Texas to the late Battie Jr. (Moody) and E.L. Wall. A former resident of Hondo, she had resided in Lufkin for the past 3 years. She was a homemaker and was of the Episcopalian faith.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William A. Weems of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Brenda Meyer of Houston, Mike and Jan Weems of Dallas and William A. ""Pat"", Jr. and Cindy Weems of Lufkin; daughter, Mary E. Weems of Corsicana; grandchildren, Adrienne M. Schwartz and husband Brent, Audrey M. Hollis and husband Chas, Anne M. Gerken and husband Gabe, Jonathan D. Weems and wife Amber, Holly E. Weems and William Bryan Weems; and great-grandchildren, Hunter D. Schwartz, Hudson M. Schwartz and Dottie L. Gerken.
