Peggy Nell Rayford

Graveside services for Peggy Nell Rayford, 70, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating.
Mrs. Rayford was born December 16, 1939 in Frankston, Texas to the late Hazel (Williford) and Joe W. Overton. She died Sunday, April 25, 2010 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mrs. Rayford was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and had lived in Lufkin all her life.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Dalton Rayford of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Lester Rhoden of Hudson; daughter, Karen Ward of Waynesville, Missouri; son, Benny Sipes of Houston; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bennie Overton of Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Jo Thornton.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
