Artis Lynway Harvey

Funeral services for Artis Lynway ""Bo"" Harvey, 57, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roy Stephens and Dr. Bob Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in the Harvey Family Cemetery in San Augustine County with Dr. Charles Lynn Williams officiating.

Mr. Harvey was born August 11, 1953 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Ida (Colleps) and Artis Hollis Harvey, and died Monday, November 8, 2010 at his residence. A former resident of San Augustine, he had resided in Lufkin since 2001. Mr. Harvey graduated from Broaddus High School and was a home builder. He was a member of Herty Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Harvey of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberley and Mark Youngblood of Huntington; grandson, Cody Youngblood of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Louie and Nancy Harvey of Lufkin; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat and Wayne Anthony, Myrtle Parker, all of Nacogdoches and Sue Hilliard of San Augustine; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, June and Jimmy Smith of Kilgore; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Janeice Ragland of Alvin, Marion Woods of Crosby and Tommy and Boni Russell of Humble; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Harvey; and sister, Carole Woods.

Pallbearers will be Marion Woods, James Youngblood, Jimmy Smith, Corey Trimble, Kenneth Smith and Tommy Russell.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
