Terry William Adams

Memorial services for Terry William Adams, 47, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Walter Futch officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams was born September 17, 1962 in Rochester, New York to Mary (Kaveny) and John S. Adams, and died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in a local hospital. He had resided in Lufkin for 4 1/2 years and was employed with Infrastrux. Mr. Adams served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Moinester from 1981 to 1989. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his spouse, Stephanie Getro of Hudson; sons, Shawn Adams of Picayune, Mississippi, Christopher Adams and Tyler Adams, both of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Brandon Getro and Richard Hernandez, both of Hudson; daughters, Carlie Adams and Terrah Adams, both of Brookhaven, Mississippi and Madison Caples of Hudson; granddaughters, Jo Hannah Lynn Adams of Picayune, Mississippi and Miley Marie Adams of Brookhaven, Mississippi; parents, John S. ""Jack"" and Mary Adams of Rochester, New York; sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris and Bill Chizuk, Patty Adams, Angela Fiorito and Sharon and Bob Stiewe, all of Rochester, New York; twin brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kim Adams of Rochester, New York; brothers, John Adams, Jr. and Tim Adams, both of Rochester, New York; special friends, John and Wendy Bryan of Lufkin and Mike and Missie Barbe of Hudson; and a host of other friends and family.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
