Pamela Jean Forrest

Funeral services for Pamela Jean Forrest, 42, of Huntington, will be held Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend James Owen Forrest and Reverend Brad Forrest officiating. Interment will follow in the Treadwell Cemetery.

Pamela was born July 9, 1968, in Lufkin, Texas, to Bobbie L. (Howard) and Bobby Van Forrest. She died Saturday, November 6, 2010 in a Houston hospital.

Pamela had resided in Huntington all her life. She was currently employed with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council in Lufkin.

Survivors include her daughter, Chelsea Forrest of Huntington; her mother, Bobbie Forrest of Huntington; companion, Dwayne Pander of Bryan; adoptive family, James and Barbara Mullican, Kim and Michael Luyet, Wayne and Tabitha Mullican, and Lynn Mullican, all of Conway, Arkansas; uncle and aunt, Dorman and Helen Forrest of Houston; special friends, Carrie and Tony Hale of Huntington, Shawnna and Joe Mettlen of Pollok; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby V. Forrest, in June 2009.

Pallbearers will be Steve Forrest, Andy Spivey, Dirk Gordon, Robbie Patterson, Robert Serpas and Tobin Wells. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Spivey and Clayton Duren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chelsea Forrest Fund at Texas State Bank in Huntington or Lufkin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
