Funeral services for Pauline Mott, 87, of Huntington will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend Sam Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Mott was born September 30, 1922 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Lomey Beatrice (Marshall) and C.B. Bryan, and died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in a local hospital. She had resided in Huntington for 59 years and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Freddie and Rebecca Mott of Huntington and Noel Thomas and JoAnn Mott of Canyon Lake; grandchildren, Vickie Lynn Shurley, Angie Markus and husband Stan, Chris Mott and wife Amanda, all of Lufkin, Heather Wantzloeben and husband Kyle of San Antonio, Leslie Adams and husband Josh of Cathlamet, Washington and Jason Thomas Mott of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Hanna and Haley Shurley, Andrew and Madelyn Markus, Lauren and Isabella Mott, Christopher Wantzloeben and Ayla Adams; and a number of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mott was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Mott.
Pallbearers will be Chris Mott, Jason Mott, Kyle Wantzloeben, Pat Bryan, Victor Bryan and Philip Bryan.
Honorary pallbearer will be Stan Markus.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raguet Street, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
