Gary Michael Hodges

Funeral services for Gary Michael Hodges, 63, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Emory Quarles officiating. Interment will follow in the McClure Cemetery.
Mr. Hodges was born January 2, 1947 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Estelle (Thomas) and Virgil Hodges. He died Monday, March 1, 2010 in Many, Louisiana.
Mr. Hodges was a heavy equipment operator for Holoman Pipeline Company. He was raised in Houston but had lived in Lufkin most of his life. He loved old cars. Mr. Hodges was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hodges of Lufkin; son, Travis Hodges and his significant other Cassell Todd of Lufkin; daughters, Karissa Hodges and her significant other Jake Rhoden of Lufkin, and Anna Hodges of Lufkin; granddaughter, Jaycie Rhoden of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy Rayburn of Many, Louisiana, Lucretia and Robert Inscore of Kerrville, Viola and Rodney Nelson of Conroe, and Becky and Mike Serres of Houston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil Duane and Barbara Hodges of Houston, David and Tina Hodges of Houston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
