Ruth Pearl Loesch

Memorial services for Ruth Pearl Loesch, 96, of Lufkin will be held Friday, May 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Greene officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mrs. Loesch was born October 1, 1913 in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Lela (Donihoo) and Fred Hobbins, and died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in a local hospital. A former resident of Houston where she worked for the Carter Music Company, she had resided in Lufkin since 1992. Mrs. Loesch was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Ben Holton of Lufkin and Gloria and Bob Beckett of Boerne; grandchildren and spouses, Ami Breeden of Opelousas, Louisiana, Stephanie and Michael Fox of Boerne and Greg and Cherrie Stunz of Port Aransas; great-grandchildren, Hunter Stunz of Port Aransas, Luke Fox and Cooper Fox, both of Boerne, and Madeline Stunz of Port Aransas; and sisters, Ethel Horvath of Pledger and Bernice Hahn of Brenham.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loesch was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fred Loesch; and brothers, Steve Hobbins and Fred Hobbins.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
