Rickie Don Jones

Funeral services for Rickie Don Jones, 41, of Huntington, will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Trish Harvill officiating. Interment will follow in the Orchard Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born May 20, 1969 in Lufkin, Texas; and he died Friday, January 14, 2011 in Huntingon.

Mr. Jones had resided in Huntington all his life. He was employed as a truck driver for Hartmann's Building Specialties in Lufkin. He loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He loved his family and friends, and his beloved dog, ""Little Girl Jones.""

Survivors include his wife, Amy Hearn Jones of Lufkin; stepdaughter, Tara Hearn of Tyler; granddaughter, Kaedence Sitze of Tyler; father and mother, J.B. and Sherry Moore of Huntington; stepfather and stepmother, William D. ""Bill"" and Patt Moore of Zavalla; brother, Steven Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Kelley and Chuck Brooks of Huntington; two special nephews, Colbey Chamblee and Tyler Brooks, both of Huntington; and stepbrothers, Jimmy Moore and family of Emory, Allen Moore and family of Magnolia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Keith Jones; brother, Bryan Jones; grandparents, Chick and Zolena Watson, Riley and Mildred Jones; and aunt, Laverne Conner.

Pallbearers will be Wes Shuell, Marty Young, Stephen Langford, Sam Williams, Wayne Steele, Ricky Page and Ray Modisette.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
