Marie Elizabeth Langston

Marie Langston, 87, of Lufkin, died Monday, December 6, 2010 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Langston was born January 27, 1923 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to Mary (Friedman) and Frank Johnson. She had resided in Lufkin for 25 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Langston was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Loyd Langston of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Judy Langston of Houston; granddaughters and their husbands, Kimberly and Lynn Grimes and Sheila and Ron Orlando, all of Houston; grandson and his wife, Larry and Christine Langston of Houston; and great-grandchildren, Jay Hebert, Cody Grimes, Adrienne Orlando, Kelly Orlando, Cole Langston, Ben Langston and Beau Langston.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
