June Bowman Temple

Memorial services for June Bowman Temple, 73, of Huntington, will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

June Bowman Temple, the beloved wife of Edward Temple, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010. She was born in Conroe, Texas on September 22, 1936 to Ruth Lenora Nidigh Bowman and Calvin Bowman.

Mr. and Mrs. Temple have owned Temple's Ewing Park for the past 19 years. They have cherished their customers, the lake, and Mrs. Temple was always ready to go fishing.

June Temple is survived by her husband of 36 years, Edward; daughters, Jana, Melissa and husband David, and Lisa; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ameal Mentzel; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and by her son, William Temple.
