Cathy Sullivan Oliver

Funeral services for Cathy Sullivan Oliver, 47, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Roy Patrick and Brother Bueford Rogers officiating. Graveside committal services will follow at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton.

Ms. Oliver was born January 3, 1964, in Lufkin, Texas; and she died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in a Lufkin hospice facility.

Ms. Oliver had worked as a self-employed trucking agent for the past 11 years. Formerly a resident of Groveton for 27 years, she had lived in Lufkin for 20 years. Ms. Oliver was a member of Josserand Baptist Church of Groveton.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Dana Rogers of New Caney, Tony and Lacey Mitchamore of Lufkin, and Justin Mitchamore of Lufkin; granddaughter, Rylee Rogers of New Caney; mother, Lois Sullivan of Groveton; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Randy Briscoe of Eunice, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Nannette Sullivan of Pollok; grandmother, Addie Owens of Groveton; nephews, Jesse Sullivan, Trevor Sullivan and Hunter Sullivan, all of Pollok; as well as numerous other relatives and close friends.

She was welcomed in Heaven by her son, David Clyde Mitchamore, Jr., and her Daddy, Bill Sullivan.

Pallbearers will be Ron Robertson, Robert Hutto, Shawn Hill, Bueford Rogers, Donald Owens and Will Stovall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Shivers and James Owens.

Memorials may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raguet, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
