Sandra Provenzano

Funeral services for Sandra ""Sandy"" Provenzano, 66, of Diboll will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Blackie Cranford officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Provenzano was born September 5, 1944 in Houston, Texas to the late Mape Bartee and Dura (Duff) Johnston, and died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Provenzano had resided in Diboll for 18 years and was the cafeteria manager at Diboll ISD for five years. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Provenzano was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Ross Provenzano of Diboll; son, Jerry Wade Oliver, Jr. of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Aaron Jones and Sharon and Lee Milligan, all of Huntington; sons and daughters-in-law, Ross A. and Paula Provenzano of Cold Spring, David and Suzanne Provenzano of Pearland and Mark Provenzano of Pasadena; grandchildren, Meagen Oliver of Richmond, Aaron ""A.J."" Jones, Jr. of Huntington, Jacob Bodden and wife Cori of Lufkin, Kasee Bodden of San Angelo, Chase Oliver of Lufkin, Carl Milligan and Jared Jones, both of Huntington; great-granddaughters, Mackenna Oliver of Richmond and Emilee Bodden of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Morgan and Linda Black of Diboll; brother, Dale Bartee of Trinity; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Provenzano was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Bartee.

Pallbearers will be A.J. Jones, Chase Oliver, Jacob Bodden, Gene Jones, Billy Oliver and Mark Provenzano.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Provenzano and David Provenzano.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
