Enedina Gonzalez Rucobo

Mass of Christian Burial for Enedina Gonzalez Rucobo, 56, of Lufkin will be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Reverend Raymundo Garcia, M.S. Celebrant and Reverend Frances O'Dowd, M.S. Celebrant officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening in the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Mrs. Rucobo was born December 5, 1954 in Harlingen, Texas to Petra (Rivera) and Manuel Gonzalez, and ascended to Heaven Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She had resided in Lufkin for 28 years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed photography, taking care of her family and helping others. Mrs. Rucobo was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Isidro Rucobo of Lufkin; son, Isidro Rucobo, Jr. of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Petra Enedina Rucobo, Cristina Rucobo, Jessica Isabel Rucobo, all of Lufkin, Amy Rucobo and Francisco Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dina Rucobo and Miles Rodriguez of Mildenhall, England; grandchildren, Briana, Amarah, Bryssa, Airamis, Crista, Joseph, Jolina and Mia; brother, Jose M. Gonzalez of Harlingen; sister, Hermelinda Gonzalez of Harlingen; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Gonzalez; and brother, Johnny Gonzalez.

Pallbearers will be Isidro Rucobo, Sr., Isidro Rucobo, Jr., Manuel Diaz, Rick Flores, Gerardo Acevedo, Archie Monroy, Joseph Hernandez and Miles Rodriguez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pablo Rucobo, Manuel Rucobo, Salvador Rucobo, Lorenzo Rucobo, Jose M. Gonzalez and Jose M. Gonzalez, Jr.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
