Justin Corey Modisette

Funeral services for Justin Corey Modisette, 25, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh Lindsey and Brother Eddie Ballard officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Justin was born July 24, 1984 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Thursday, June 10, 2010 in a local hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and a 2003 graduate of Lufkin High School. Justin was employed with Foretravel. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Cassidy Modisette of Lufkin; son, Riggin Modisette of Lufkin; daughter, Avery Modisette of Lufkin; mother, Linda Modisette of Lufkin; father, Joe Serrano of Diboll; sister, Gina Serrano of Diboll; brother, J.D. Serrano of Diboll; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and Bobby Ferguson of Alto; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jaimee and Matt Varner of Lufkin and Lindsey and Colt Simmons of Hudson; and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Modisette.

Pallbearers will be Gary Webb, Jeremy Webb, Roger Martin, Justin Lindsey, Colt Simmons, Kevin Martin, Matt Varner and Nat Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin's co-workers at Foretravel.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
