Debbie Marie Hight

Graveside services for Debbie Marie (Thompson) Hight, 55, of Hudson will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fielder Cemetery with Dr. Charles Williams officiating.

Mrs. Hight was born January 10, 1955 in Lufkin, Texas to Peggy Joyce (Squyres) and Kenneth Emanuel Thompson, and died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was employed with the Lufkin State School. Mrs. Hight was an avid supporter of the Trinity Broadcasting Network and attended the Dependent Family Church.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Hugo Hight of Hudson; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie (Ramey) and David Singer of Dallas, Johanna and J.R. Johnson and Paige Cheyenne Hight, all of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason and Robin Collins and Josh Lee, all of Lufkin; seven grandchildren; father and stepmother, K.E. ""Cotton"" and Jackie Thompson of Lufkin; brothers and sister-in-law, David Thompson of Crockett and Tony and Theresa Thompson of Lufkin; and niece, Emily Joyce Thompson of Lufkin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Joyce Squyres.

Pallbearers will be Josh Lee, Coyt Hight, Jr., Jason Havard, Joey Bynum, Audie Guthery and Chris King.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday at the funeral home.
