Evelyn Bowler Hubert

Graveside services for Evelyn Bowler Hubert, 94, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Orange, Texas with Reverend Loren Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Hubert was born September 19, 1915 in Orange, Texas to the late Winnie (Brewster) and Joseph Phillip Bowler, Jr., and died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Hubert resided in Port Arthur most of her life and worked at Gates Memorial Library. Mrs. Hubert lived in Lufkin for the past 25 years and was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Carl and Peggy Hubert of McKinney, John Paul and Cheri Hubert and James William Hubert, of Richardson; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Gay and Wilson White of League City; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Laura Bowler of Orange.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hubert was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hubert; and two brothers.
