Funeral services for Mrs. Eddie Lee Weaver, 98, of Lufkin, will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the Denman Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Charles M. Roberts and Pastor Kevin Roy officiating. Graveside committal services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Ebenezer Cemetery at Emilee in Tyler County.
Mrs. Weaver was born October 5, 1912 in Center, Shelby County, Texas, to the late Rev. Acie Thompson Nash and Mattie Elizabeth ""Lizzy"" Reeves Nash. She departed this world to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in a Huntington nursing facility.
Mrs. Weaver moved to Emilee near Woodville as a small child, graduated from Woodville High School, and attended Mary Hardin Baylor University. She married John Burr ""Jack"" Weaver on December 24, 1935; and they were married for 43 years until Jack's passing in 1977. They were blessed with four sons and many years of fishing and hunting. The Weavers moved to Lufkin in 1961. Mrs. Weaver was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and an active member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church, who loved traveling with the ""Goldenagers"" of her church. She will be remembered as a lady who enjoyed life and loved exercising at ""Live Well"" until she was 93 years old.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Patsy Weaver of Coldspring, Carl and Ella Weaver of Lufkin, Eddy and Patsy Weaver of Huntington; granddaughters and husbands, Vickie and Harley Lovings of New Waverly, Leah and Chad Martin of Huntington, and Karla Weaver of Arlington; grandson and wife, John and Kristen Weaver of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Brian and Kayla Peterson of Coldspring, Jeffery Lewis of Aransas Pass, Kennady and Colyer Martin of Huntington, and Jackson Weaver of Lufkin; brother, Leslie Nash of Huntsville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Weaver; son, Ricky Weaver; daughter-in-law, Shirley Weaver; granddaughter, Cheryl Weaver Lewis; and grandson-in-law, Larry Peterson.
Pallbearers will be John Weaver, Chad Martin, Brian Peterson and Harley Lovings.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
