Jeanette Loving Vaughn

Funeral services for Jeanette Loving Vaughn, 76, of Midlothian will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Vaughn was born November 18, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Cynthia (Snowden) and James Henry Loving, and died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Waxahachie, Texas.

Mrs. Vaughn was a longtime resident of Corrigan and was the Assistant Cashier at Citizens State Bank of Corrigan for 27 years. She had resided in Midlothian for the last two years, formerly residing in Lufkin. Mrs. Vaughn was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Corrigan Chapter 631. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, David Vaughn of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Shannon of Midlothian; grandchildren, Teri and Jerrod Nichols of Diboll, Cindy and Shawn Perman of College Station, Shelly and Lesly Wilkinson of Hudson, Tracy and Dickie Parrott of Mansfield, John David Shannon of Midlothian, Steven Vaughn of Lufkin, Jordan Vaughn of Georgia and Aden Vaughn of Lufkin; and great-grandchildren, Brittney and Hunter Nichols of Diboll, Gracie Wilkinson of Hudson, Halen Tilley, Savannah, Jasper and Jaxon Perman, all of College Station, Bailey and Collin Shannon, both of Midlothian, Brandon Vaughn of Lufkin, Elise and Levi Parrott of Mansfield.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Vaughn; and brothers, Charles Loving and George Loving.

Pallbearers will be Jerrod Nichols, Shawn Perman, Dickie Parrott, Steven Vaughn, John Shannon and Halen Tilley.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
