Katherine Ann Smith Easley

Graveside services for Katherine Ann Smith Easley, 71, of Livingston will be held Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zavalla Cemetery with Brother Jackson Colwell officiating.

Mrs. Easley was born December 8, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Hazel (Hopson) and Benjamin Franklin Smith, and died Friday, November 26, 2010 in Livingston. A resident of Lufkin most of her life, she had resided in Livingston since 2008. Mrs. Easley was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Don R. and Kathy Easley of Cleveland and Duncan and Katylin Easley of Seattle, Washington; daughters, Betty Joyce Haynes and Peggy Ann Haynes, both of Silsbee; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Smith of Zavalla; brother-in-law, Weldon Evans of Zavalla; sister-in-law, Margaret Smith of Livingston; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easley was preceded in death by her husband, Don Royce Easley, Sr.; sisters, Sue Evans and Thelma Joyce Smith; and brothers, Johnny Smith and Carl Smith.
