Clovis Marie Smith

Graveside services for Ms. Clovis Marie Smith, 86, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Huntington Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth King officiating.

Ms. Smith was born August 12, 1924 in Huntington, Texas to the late Ovie (Carroll) and Henry M. Smith, and died Monday, February 21, 2011 in a local nursing home. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County and retired from Angelina Hardwood Sales. Ms. Smith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntington, and was currently attending Carpenter's Way Baptist Church.

Survivors include her cousins, Edward Smith of Lufkin, Margie Johnson and Raymond Smith, both of Nacogdoches; and numerous other relatives.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
