Carol Elizabeth Flournoy

Graveside services for Carol Elizabeth Flournoy, 61, of Huntington will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mrs. Flournoy was born July 7, 1949 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County and was a Nurses' Aide at Southland Nursing Home. Mrs. Flournoy loved cooking, fishing and gardening, and she enjoyed helping others. She attended the Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Nicole Hanks of Ashland, Oregon, Keith and Sally Hanks of San Antonio and Stephen Hanks of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Jacob Hanks, Samantha Hanks, both of San Antonio, Austin Hanks, Lana Hanks, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alex Hanks and Katherine Hanks, both of Ashland, Oregon; mother, Jo Harber of Lufkin; and special friend, Wesley Bellenger.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Flournoy's grandchildren.
