Irene Virginia Williams

Graveside services for Irene Virginia Williams, 80, of Zavalla, will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Zavalla Cemetery with Brother Cary Modisett officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday at the Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.

Mrs. Williams was born June 12, 1930 in Brookeland, Texas, the daughter of the late Lucy (Bentley) and John Flurry. She died Friday, December 17, 2010 at her residence in Huntington.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Joe Tanner of Diboll, Lawanna and Buddy Ogden of Etoile, and Daisy and Glynn Hale of Lufkin; eleven grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Williams' grandsons.
