Robert Buren Scott

Memorial services for Robert Scott, 69, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor David Craig officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Scott was born January 2, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Vivian (West) and Robert Buren Scott, Sr. He died Sunday, March 28, 2010 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. Scott was a lifelong resident of Lufkin. He was employed as a salesman for Gillette Tire for 17 years. Mr. Scott was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandy Scott of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Scott of Lufkin; daughters, Kay Minshew of Lufkin, Carol Scott of Dallas; grandson, Jordan Minshew of Lufkin; cousins, Joe and Sarah Murray, Ernie and Tracy Murray, and Woody and Kate Scott; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pat Burgess, Harry and Cathy Reed, Becky and Dennis Smith, George and Monica Reed; as well as numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Harriett Scott; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Gwen Reed.
