Joan Marie Kenneda

Funeral services for Joan Marie Kenneda, 65, of Longview will be held Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kenneda was born September 11, 1945 in Shelby County, Texas to the late Lonie (Baker) and William M. Miller. She died Friday, December 10, 2010 at her residence. A former resident of Houston, Mrs. Kenneda had resided in Longview for over 30 years. She worked for Lupe's Mexican Restaurant for 26 years. Mrs. Kenneda was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, James Berlin Kenneda of Longview, son and daughter-in-law, Weldon Michael and Shellie Baudat of White Oak; grandchildren, Gerald Michael Baudat and Allie Ann Baudat; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elois Oliver of Houston, Billie Ruth and Leonard Billeck of Huntington, Lou Ann Williams, Gloria and Gordon Logan, all of Houston, Nelva Terry of Waseca, Minnesota, Clara and Charles Lovett of Huntington, Linda McKnight of Longview and Bobbie Watkins of Porter; brothers and sister-in-law, Gene and Sue Miller of Pickton, Truman Miller of Huntington and Charles W. ""Billy Boy"" Miller of Splendora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kenneda was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Miller, Marshall ""Bo"" Miller and Albert Miller; and sister, Earsel Terna.
