David L. Hensarling

Graveside services for David L. Hensarling, 53, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Crain Cemetery with Reverend Gary Forrest officiating.
Mr. Hensarling was born and lived in Lufkin, Texas all his life. He was employed with Lufkin Industries for 35 years, where he worked as an NC Programmer in Power and Transmission. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and ride his Harley Davidson. He was a loving husband and father. He was married for 36 years. Mr. Hensarling loved life and tried to live it to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard B. Hensarling, and his mother, Christine Hensarling, both of Lufkin, as well as his brother, Gayle McKnight of Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Grimes Hensarling, and two daughters, Jennifer Hensarling Kelley and husband Travis Kelley of Lufkin, and Heather Hensarling of Lufkin; one grandchild, Brianna Kelley; brother, Richard Larry Hensarling of Lufkin; nephews, Tyler Grimes of Lufkin, Lee McKnight of Alaska; nieces, Lindsey McKnight of Alaska, Angela Tambornino of Alaska; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Richard Glista of Bangor, Michigan; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Travis Kelley, Will Waldrep, David Bowers, Billy Walters, Clyde Herrington and Jeff Carpenter.
Honorary pallbearers are David Berry and Mark Townley.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
