Glenn Edward Dunn

Funeral services for Glenn Edward Dunn, 60, of Hudson, will be held Monday, January 31, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Walter Futch officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Mr. Dunn was born May 10, 1950, in Lufkin, Texas, to Mary Lee (Davison) and the late Marvin Glenn Dunn. He died Friday, January 28, 2011 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mr. Dunn was a retired Quality Control Inspector for Citation/Texas Foundry, following 37 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Dunn loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter, and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Mr. Dunn had lived in Hudson all his life.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Dunn of Hudson; his children and their spouses, Chrissy and Chris Smith, Scott and Meagan Moore, Shea and Michael Whitehead, and Camaron and Jenna Kurvin, all of Hudson; grandchildren, Shepard and Noah Smith, Addison and Carsyn Moore, Chloe and Bryson Whitehead, and Emma Kurvin; mother, Mary Dunn of Hudson; brothers and sister-in-law, James Ray and Debbie Dunn, Charles Dunn, all of Hudson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Allen Lovelady, Joe Hendricks, Chris Dunn, Jeremy Dunn, Letney Head and Chad Heath.

Honorary pallbearers are James Johnson, Lester Rhoden and Dennis Dunn.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
